# What is StarkEx?

_StarkEx_ is a standalone system for exchanges that uses the STARK proof system in order to provide scalability for the exchanges using it. Exchanges using StarkEx in production on Ethereum mainnet include DeversiFi, dYdX, Immutable, Sorare.
