# What's the gas cost of a STARK verifier on Ethereum?

According to [this doc](https://github.com/matter-labs/awesome-zero-knowledge-proofs#comparison-of-the-most-popular-zkp-systems), it is ~2.5M. However, that was estimated [~4 years ago](https://github.com/matter-labs/awesome-zero-knowledge-proofs/issues/48), without an implementation. What is the latest size? Any verifier contract on the mainnet to check?
