Who are we?

-We founded Dokuz Eylul Blockchain Community in 2018. Over the years, we have continuously developed our mission, vision and core team. Our goal is to educate students who want to learn about blockchain and introduce them to this extraordinary revolution. Our well-equipped software team actively participates in national and international Hackathons, representing ourselves and working hard to make the community proud. We also aim to organize great events in the Izmir region, hosting leading brands and industry experts, offering training sessions, workshops and hackathons.

Why do we want to be a Delegate?

-We are a community interested in Starknet. We care about decentralization and we listen to everyoneā€™s opinions. If elected, we are committed to making user-friendly choices after we know what our community thinks about the outcome of the vote. Also, our board members are full of young talents with very different perspectives. We think that objective comments from their discussions will be important for Starknetā€™s independent progress. We believe that science and the future starts at university. As a blockchain club, we believe that we will contribute to shaping the future.

-Our team members are very friendly with many project developers from Starknet. We are confident that we will measure the pulse of the ecosystem from the inside with Starknet-specific events that we will organize in our future goals, as well as a constructive voting process in any voting process!

i am bala, I am a photographer and also a desinger ā€¦ crypto is my interest, mainly interested in various L2-solutions of Ethereum, as I see a huge future for this direction of crypto-industry development.
I am an active user in StarkNet ecosystem and also a node runner.
Iā€™ve been using StarkNet network from early stages in testnet almost a year now.
For me itā€™s really a pleasure to see such opportunity to get involved in project through governance and contribute even more.

As a DAO governance Iā€™ve participated in governance proposals on Snapshot for different projects on Ethereum and L2 blockchains.
I also have some experience in proposal creation & execution in Snapshot as wellā€¦But I wish to be more active in starknet and develop my skills also in you project.

Hi everybody,

I have my own starknet node till months now, and I made a documentation for french beginners in the past.
Iā€™d like in the future to continue with my starknet node, so I wanna be a staker when it will be possible. For this, Iā€™ll need to follow the project and the comming inmplementations, and be active.

My experience in DAO is voting for EVMavericksā€™s proposals, and recently for Divaā€™s protocol. And some others I did in the past, like Stargate and Tower ecosystem.

I 'm a node operator : ETH node till genesis of the beacon chain, starknet node, ssv node, and soon a diva node.
Iā€™m not an expert, just a curious retail trying to participate in projects he likes !
I made some tutos in the past for making node for french beginners, like starknet and ETH node.

I donā€™t think I have any conflicts of interest, Iā€™m just a retail with some nodes at home. So the only conflict I could have is being a node operator and all of them being part of ethereumā€™s ecosystem.

My name is Jush. As a web3 researcher and active user of Starknet ecosystem, I am actively using the features that Starknet has to offer until now.
What I like most about Starknet is the Starknet explorer. Very easy to read, accurate and fast.

My experience since 2017 involves community management and smart contract development.

As a delegate, my plan is to represent the communityā€™s interests and ensure that the governance process is running transparent and fair. Also I have studied a lot about Starkware and Starknet ecosystem and am very interested in becoming an active participant in the governance of Starknet.
Eager to engage in discussions with the community, Iā€™ll build initiatives and help answer questions and review/vote proposals. I believe a good community needs to maintain a positive environment. I have strong faith in Starknet because I believe in the mission and purpose of StarkNet and I would love to be a part of it.

The core values that will guide my decision-making is the impact of it being implemented to starknet network and its ecosystem. If itā€™s unfavorable for starknet ecosystem, we need to objectively find the best solution that will benefit the ecosystem and community.

I am Calc a contributor at BibliothecaDAO and a humble duck owner. I have been in the Starknet ecosystem for about a year or so, I am not a dev so donā€™t have anything too exciting contribution wise but have been a proud and outspoken Starknet bull throughout the online and physical space.

I want to delegate to be able to keep up to date personally with what is occurring with the layer of Ethereum in which I do 99% of my transactions and think about on a daily basis. I would also like to have a voice in how Starknet evolves over the following years, I have strong belief in decentralised and permissionless systems - believing that Starknet as a technology will be the future of that, I would like to help it follow those beliefs.

I am relatively new to DAO construction and processā€™ but have been a part of crypto for several years now and with experience of contributing to BibliothecaDAO I believe I can be of some use.

Sadly my career prior to crypto is Accountancy so expertise is in the boring granular side of processā€™, this can however have some useful overlap in how DAOā€™s are managed and work as a large component is managing capital.

I am here for the very long term with both Starknet ecosystem. I believe in the people building here and would like to help however I can :saluting_face:

Hi everyone

My name is Henry Tan I am crypto enthusiasts and also an active user of Starknet in the current time. I got introduced and get involved into cryptocurrencies since 2020 and has been working as a crypto full time since that day. Ever since then I found myself deeply interested with blockchain technologies and Layer 2 solution thatā€™s why i actively participate in any important event, early tester before the launch, actively communicating with the team and member of the community, as well as monitoring closely for each project updates and development.

In the past I mainly spent my time doing research, learning and contributed in project thatā€™s related with web3 or defi, as well as NFT built within various blockchain like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism and etc. My past experience with Starknet is when i earn myself a spot to become one of the early tester. In the current time I contribute by actively using Starknet dapps or platform and participate in weekly quest like argent, joining the online forum and sharing info with other member in the community. Aside from starknet lately Iā€™ve been focusing on project thatā€™s related with ZKsync.

As a crypto enthusiast and long time builder in Ethereum blockchain, I really like the solution that Starknet bringing up, and for that to happen I wish to personally support their vision and prove that the solution provided by starknet will bring a big change and benefit toward crypto space. This is a rare chance get to play an important role in supporting one of the biggest ecosystem and most realiable project in cryptocurrencies, thatā€™s why I donā€™t want to regret it by not taking this chance. This is also a good way to expand my knowledge and learn more deeply about Starknet.

Regarding my experience with Dao Governance actually I didnā€™t being active enough in that, so I think this is a good time to change myself to be more active in that matter. Previously I only involved few forum discussion, staking native token and use my voting power for Layerzero, L2 or zksync chain proposal and decision making.

Speaking of that my core values for voting will always following the principle transparency, consistency, and long term benefit. And I will make sure all decision making will always stay align with Starknet vision.

  • Transparency : Any governance process should be ongoing in full trust, reliable and clear information. This is very important factor to ensure the success of one decision making or voting proposal process. After chosen as delegator I will act and guided by this principle and make sure to achieve that in each event that might happen in the future
  • Consistency : ensure that all voting or decision making member makes a consistent appearance for governance process
  • Long term benefit : Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture of what is the potential this project could have in the upcoming future, not just the result in current time. Once we made decision and have clear sight of the future, all we got to do is working hard together to fulfill it.

As a consideration of my skill and expertise:

  • 3 years worth of research and knowledge about blockchain technologies and Layer 2 solution, since then I also been involved in lots of campaign and quest held by Starknet itself
  • Node runner for project like Celestia, Aptos and Sui
  • Good at providing feedback and suggestion
  • Experience in community engagement and content creation
  • Take responsibility very seriously, will always work hard to fulfill my word and turn them into action that could benefit Starknet growth and success

I am very convinced the solution that Starknet offer will bring a good change into the world of cryptocurrencies. Aside from my admiration, I have a confident to stay as a long time and loyal user of Starknet in the next few years. Introduction

Hello everyone my name is Jerome Lim, joining Starknet as an early tester and been active as a Starknet user ever since then. Apart from that i am also quite passionate about everything thatā€™s related with cryptocurrencies especially for DeFi and Web3. For the past months Iā€™ve joining various campaign and quest which held by Starknet ecosystem. One of them is weekly quest in Argent community, I found it very enjoyable and educational at the same time. I have also donating through gitcoin, as well testing and providing feedback to projects such as Sphinx, Starkswap, Hashstack, and many others. This is just small part of my contribution and attempt to achieve much higher and bigger level for supporting Starknet development and growth in the long run.

The reason why i want to be delegate is because I really like the Starknet ecosystem, my past experience in using dapps and protocol built within Starknet end with good result and satisfication. Thatā€™s why my curiosity and desire want to know more about how Starknet can develop so well, how the technologies work, and this is also a rare opportunity to expand my knowledge and get the chance to involved in one of the project that i followed the most often.

Some technical skills that I obtain uptill now is I have been running node for various project that concentrated around Ethereum, as well as others project like Celestia and Sui. With my past few years of research and effort, I believe it could also be useful for the project.

Hello my name is Kim Chani from Korean, I have been active and learning crypto for 3 years. Starknet is one of the earliest and main project in my list. my thesis for all this is that, for l2 mass adaption, web3 gaming & onchain art will be hugely huge and sure not lesser than finance (defi)

Over the past several months, I have immersed myself deeply into the StarkNet ecosystem. Iā€™ve had the privilege of leading the development for the Beerus Starknet light client. Additionally, I have contributed to notable projects such as Kakarot ZKEVM and Madara. Since January 2023, Iā€™ve dedicated my full time to Starknet, showcasing my commitment and passion for the ecosystem. In an effort to nurture and grow the StarkNet community, I organized the ā€˜Starknet salle du temps hacker houseā€™ which hosted over 30 talented Starknet hackers. Furthermore, Iā€™ve been honored to represent StarkNet as a speaker at prestigious events including EthCC, StarknetCC, Zuzalu, Web3 Talent Fair, Orbiter Finance Talks, Antalpha hacker house, and more. My involvement has allowed me to closely observe and influence the matters of decentralization within Starknet.

Being a delegate offers the unique opportunity to further shape and guide the StarkNet ecosystem. My intention is to actively engage with the community, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed.
