Ledger issues with [ legacy ] starknet wallets

Ledger hardware wallet has not worked well on starknet since i began using the protocol, and now it appears ive been completely locked out until a patch or fix is developed.

The issue seems to stem from the fact that wallets are being upgraded from legacy to more advanced. In my situation, the ledger was setup with argent legacy starknet wallets. Now it looks like no wallet providers that work w ledger offer this same type of wallet, and the ledger no longer works with the legacy wallets.

So i can pull up the wallets but cannot transact. Regenerating the wallets from the ledger only works with the legacy argent wallet for this wallet type (but cannot transact) and these addresses do not show up when attempting to regenerate w other wallet providers.

The ledger website shows an update was made in late jan 2025. I feel there are probably a lot of people that will have this same issue but they have not noticed it yet.

Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas for a fix?

Much appreciated.

Hey @Dcm25, with what wallet did you originally use Ledger with on Starknet (Argent/Braavos/Keplr)?
Did you try to connect your Ledger to that specific wallet and see if you can transact?

Yes, originally connect w argent legacy wallet (not the new smart contract wallet)

Have rebooted the wallet a number of times and no issue loading up the wallet, but cannot transact.
