I have been involved with defi for a while and feel closely aligned with the StarkNet ecosystem, and driving impact within the defi/web3 ecosystem leading to the betterment of the space and brining benefits to all its users.
I believe StarkNet will become one of the flagship scaling platforms in the web3/defi economy and would love to play a role in ensuring it does so. I have been actively participating in the governance of few projects, and looking forward to contributing much more in the years to come!

The focus on public goods is a marked difference in the goals of the StarkNet governance vs many other DAOs and communities. Public Goods are often taken for granted, however they could become key infrastructure for the decentralised economy.

Our team specializes in governance (weā€™re governance activists after all), investing/capital allocation (prior to this, half of our team worked in investment roles at crypto VC funds), and speaking when weā€™re called on (i.e., doing the work weā€™re supposed to be doing!).

StableLab has shown our support for the StarkNet ecosystem long before we decided to apply to become a delegate. We have voted in support of MakerDAOā€™s collaboration with StarkNet via voting in support of almost 10 StarkNet-related votings, including Initial Parameters for StarkNet Simple DAI Bridge, Maker Teleport Deployment on Starknet and Associated Risk Parameters - August 1, and Maker Teleport Deployment on Starknet and Associated Risk Parameters - August 15

We also supported StarkNet through a recent Aave On-Chain vote titled Aave StarkNet Phase I - Aave <> StarkNet Bridge deployment/activation.

Why do you want to be a delegate? How do you plan to fulfill this role?

StarkNet is focused on providing permissionless decentralized scalability to dApps. We want to support the future of zk-rollups and their role in allowing dApps to scale without compromising Ethereumā€™s composability or security. With reliable governance, StarkNet will be able to grow safely and sustainably. We look forward to playing a key role in turning StarkNetā€™s vision into reality.

We focus on meaningful participation in each DAO we work in. In addition to voting, commenting, and presenting proposals, we take on active leadership roles in the communities. Through these leadership positions and the proposals we author, we can initiate positive change across the DeFi ecosystem.

Our commitment to providing value to DAO governance has allowed us to grow to be one of the largest delegates in most major DAOs and serve on important committees in others. For example, in both MakerDAO, Element Finance, and 1inch, we started with minor delegation and are now the top delegates.

One way we provide more value than the traditional delegate is by authoring proposals in the DAOs we work in. StableLab recently authored successful proposals in 1inch, Hop, Element Finance, and Jet. Overview

Hi everyone. Iā€™m Nathan, the ecosystem lead at Snapshot Labs. With this candidacy, I aim to represent both myself and Snapshot, so Iā€™ll introduce both.

Iā€™m a political philosophy researcher with a strong interest in blockchains and the governance of decentralized networks. I worked previously around the topic of limiting the influence of Big Tech on the internet and that research brought me here, as I believe that the early stage of governance on decentralized networks is crucial to turning the centralization of power in the digital space. Iā€™ve been working at Snapshot as the ecosystem lead to try to guide the organization toward that vision. Iā€™ve quickly taken interest in StarkNet, as we announced our cooperation on Snapshot X, a fully on-chain voting framework, and have since then organized two meetups in Brussels attended by dozens of enthusiasts as well as companies like Argent, Ledger, StarkWare, or the chads at Briq.

Values

Snapshot itself is the home of governance for a vast majority of DAOs. Around summer 2021, we decided to make the same bet as many of you here, that ZK Rollups were the future of blockchain, and that StarkWare had the best shot to deliver on that vision. Since then, our team has been very active in the StarkNet ecosystem creating key infrastructure pieces including Checkpoint, contributions to storage proofs, native Ethereum signatures, and contributions on Pathfinder.

Our vision for Snapshot X is an unstoppable set of governance smart contracts that any DAO, community or even political entity can use for free in order to create a basis for fair governance. For that reason, we need StarkNet to be as decentralized and secure as possible. As a delegate, this will be the core value Iā€™ll be representing.

We have strong experience in DAO governance, not simply by being the platform where most of it happens. Weā€™ve been active delegates in the ENS DAO, the Safe DAO, and the Optimism token house. In all of these, weā€™ve promoted the values of ecosystem growth, fairness, and progressive decentralization.

Conflicts of interest

StarkNetā€™s governance will happen on Snapshot, and then Snapshot X. We donā€™t believe that this creates a conflict of interest though, as we are even more strongly incentivized to see it succeed. It however could cause us to promote Snapshot over other governance frameworks.

I have experience in Insured Finance as Social Media Manager and it helped me to improve myself in marketing area and having networks. Then, I was part of Navy Investor Group which have great community in Turkey crypto community(Almost half million followers on twitter). Now, I am working at Coin Muhendisi that is the most known Turkish crypto society and investment club. I am currently communicating with new crypto projectā€™s team and evaluating the projects to understand whether they are worth to invest at seed, private rounds. I trust myself about the evaluate a project about every perspective. I have great networks in Turkish community and some projects. I also created two NFT projects and they werenā€™t great but I learned a lot from them.

Iā€™m certified about the Communication Skills, Financial Management and Project Management. All of them have a great effect to me to have a great experiences in blockchain ecosystem.

Iā€™m interested in the blockchain technologies since 2018. Started as a trader and Iā€™m now deeply interested in what is blockchain techs and how do they work. ETH 2.0, shards, rollups, consensus, zero-knownlodge techs, subnets, parachains, ZK and parachains are my mainly interest areas. I always love doing researches, reading articles etc. I recently begun software lessons to improve my coding skills. Iā€™m a open-minded and I am ready to give my whole time to such a great tech product. I am looking for jobs at blockchain services right now and when I find a job available for myself, I will quit my job and will be able to dedicate my whole time to new job. I am a computer-nerd and there is nothing that gives me more pleasure than hanging with my macbook.

I especially am impressed by scalability solutions such as rollups, zk-techs. I believe after the initial phase, zk-techs might dominate whole blockchain area. Itā€™s the product of an amazing mind. And of course Ethereum will be the pioneer of the this area with its great mentality. I tried every product of zk and other rollups and every app and this mechanism is really charming. Iā€™m not only part of Ethereum community but also I always research next-level technogies and want to be part of it since their origins.

Hello everyone, my name is Vyacheslav and originally Iā€™m from Ukraine, currently working in Web3 project as a full-time iOS dev.

I care deeply about the Ethereum community and I believe StarkNet is the future of scaling it. I have a good understanding of the network, and as a delegate I believe I can apply my knowledge to best represent the long term sustainability of the network and the safety of its users.

Iā€™ve seen that people here have so much experience and knowledge about DAO governance, so I canā€™t say that I have as many as them. Iā€™m just a simple user of Snapshot platform and some Cosmos network chains, where I participate as a voter.

I can say that I have some skills in iOS development, I also love using etherscan and similar tools on other chains to see whatā€™s happening and made some search.

As for the reason why anyone should delegate to me, I think I could be one of those simple users, who just loved blockchain technology and want to be involved as much as it is possible.

I donā€™t have any conflicts of interest at least I could think of any of them.

I want to see ā€œweb3ā€™ā€™ continue to be something really transformative and not just fade into legacy traps because of greed and centralization easy mode. I really appreciate how StarkNet is using technology for positive social impact, putting purpose and not just profit front and center and fostering public goods development for the long term benefit of everyone. This is refreshing and equally reassuring at this point in the crypto adoption cycle.

Iā€™ve contributed to MakerDAOā€™s mission since 2018, being part of the Foundation team and now (after being part of the Foundations dissolution) a contributor to the DAO on the Maker Growth Core Unit. I believe itā€™s incredibly important that everyone has the optionality into DeFi. Affordable and secure transactions are key to bring decentralized services to people everywhere.This is why I want to participate in StarkNet.

This is an honest and realistic design approach. New models need time to be tested and emerge from theory to practice. Itā€™s not easy stuff. Having two key focus areas to orient action and decision making seems like a logical way to avoid distractions and minimize inefficiencies. Like anything in its infancy, having guidance from a Foundation and dedicated ā€œcaretakersā€ is crucial to create the right frameworks to operate in and eventually become self-sustaining (ā€œfly from theā€™'nestā€)

We (SqpuhksDAO) started almost 4 years ago, with the mission to increase diversity in the crypto space. I feel thereā€™s a fear with long lived tenants due to the examples of modern constitutions that have swayed away from the original intent or become murky to translate to the present. I believe with web3 this can be solved due to the immutability/transparency of blockchains along with the fact this constitution isnā€™t being created in a closed mainly monoculture room but within. an open ecosystem. I think it will be key to identify the core aspects of Starknet and how they can be governed & grow autonomously by those heavily interested within that segment.

With these skills I hope to help connect the physical and digital worlds together with a focus on environmental sustainability and cultivation.

Hello, esteemed developers, forum members and occasional guests!
My name is Kirill. I am a member of BlackAmberTeam (BAT). My duties include searching for early stage projects, communicating with teams for mutual cooperation and popularization of projects, as well as for help in testing the product. We try to choose projects which in our opinion are developing the industry and will be useful in the future.
About a year ago I found StarkNet and after some analysis my team and I deployed several test network nodes that we continue to support now. I have personally tested the various features of the network many times and continue to do so now. It is very exciting and interesting to see how the project evolves. I see the network becoming more stable and faster which makes me happy as a user. This project has a great future, I am sure of it and I would like to be a part of people who will participate in its development.
