Overview

I’m an individual with a background in LAMP development and an interest in rollups, particularly validity rollups, since 2021. I’ve experimented with learning some Cairo in 2021/2022, before deciding to hold on until the language was a bit more mature (ie around now). I’ve been an active early participant in some of the largest parts of the Starknet ecosystem - particularly Briq, Pxls and more recently Influence. I don’t represent any particular group, interest or project, and I believe this is a positive thing (not trying to push any particular agenda), but I have a more general interest in rollups and account abstraction as a whole, and in helping Starknet on the path to success, as I believe it’s the way forward for Ethereum.

Why me?

I have a dev background so understand fundamentals pretty well, and am now coming back into to the cairo fold. I have good working experience of several eth rollups, which I think it’s really important to learn from (in terms of the economics, community engagement, business partnerships and general publicity). I’ve found the approach Optimism took, in particular, to be an excellent way of stimulating engagement, feeding funds back into the ecosystem and creating a system whereby governance isn’t strictly plutocratic. Above all this is my main vision / hope for crypto - trying to avoid the antidemocratic centralization of wealth and power that already exists in the real world. For this you need a plurality of voices and opinions, and commitment to further the project. I’m passionate about both of these things.

I also made Pickle Briq. :metal:

Past DAO experience

I’m an active participant in Optimism and Uniswap DAOs.

Conflicts of interest

None – I’m just an individual who’s interested in seeing Starknet succeed, with no vested interests.

Good day!
My name is Dorian, 30 years old, digital artist and content creator (including blockchain content). I am in the blockchain space for more than 3 years.
I tested various projects on various blockchain, runned nodes, created content for them.
I am a big fan of Ethereum and its L2 blockchains built on top of it. I strongly believe that StarkNet will be a milestone in blockchain development.
I am following StarkNet from an early stage and I have participated in the testnet and alpha mainnet phases.
As a Delegate, I would actively participate in governance discussions and voting on proposals that will impact the StarkNet ecosystem and its users.
I have no conflict of interests.

Thank you for considering my application.

I’ve been in cryptomeria recently.
My work experience: Testing wallets, nft markets, I believe that starnet is a top project and I should be part of this big world. And I hope I’m on the right track.

Why is my delegation important?
I’m not interested in making money from my texts, I want something more. I will definitely achieve this.

I have worked in various positions as a marketer, including in a blockchain startup.
I have also worked with several decentralized communities.
I want to be a delegate because I believe that I can have a positive impact on the ecosystem,
contributing to its growth, implementation and management. As a delegate, I plan to work closely with
by the community in identifying and implementing marketing initiatives that can help increase awareness,
acceptance and engagement. In addition, I plan to contribute to the management process

implement governance processes that are fair, transparent and efficient.
I am committed to the success of the StarkNet ecosystem and will work tirelessly to ensure that it reaches its full potential.

After all, the future belongs to krikta!

Hey everybody! I’m sandro and I’m taking my first steps as a delegate. I don’t have experience like many here already have, but I’m always determined to help and learn. I hope to be able to pass on my knowledge and worldview and also absorb it from the community, adding to each other for our growth. I’m a person who follows my hunch, and right now I feel that the starknet, even in its infancy, is already a very promising thing. Thank you for your attention and also for the opportunity to become a delegate, see you around making starknet grow more every day.

Hi, my name is Hugo, and I am a co-founder of Exothium as well as a contributor to open-source development tools, such as the Phaser-Starknet-Boilerplate. I became part of the StarkNet ecosystem in May 2022 and have since been actively engaged in the community.

As a crypto enthusiast and developer, I discovered the world of cryptocurrency around 2017 and developed a game called Cryptodungeons, a fully on-chain game on Ethereum featuring quests, heroes, items, and crafting.

At Exothium, we run a gaming-focused community that aims to support the StarkNet ecosystem by providing open-source tooling.

We already sponsored and participated in StarkNet Portugal events/workshops.

One of our key initiatives at Exothium is to openly share our tools and code with the community, which encourages the growth and expansion of the ecosystem.

Furthermore, I am the founder and CTO of Feralbyte, where we develop innovative products using cutting-edge technologies like Cairo and StarkNet.

Looking forward to keep building a brighter future together!

Hey everybody, I’m Ady and I’m a blockchain tester in various Ecosystems
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:

  1. StarkNet is the most promising effort to make Ethereum secure, scalable and a viable computing platform.
2.I have considerable experience on DAO governance, being an active delegate in 2 of the biggest ecosystems and . Not everyone needs to work on a VC-funded for-profit soul-crashing startup that gives nothing back to the world.

My view: The main thing that pushed me to get actively involved in Gitcoin DAO was the goal of funding public goods. Only for my specific case public goods is the much more specific and hard case of opensource software. The idea of finding ways to make opensource software sustainable by providing incentives to those who build them is something that excites me and fills me with purpose.
Skills and areas of expertise: ** Defi, Solidity, web3 React, DAO governance / diplomacy.

My goal:
I can leverage knowledge to help design and develop financial applications on StarkNet that are both efficient and secure. Moreover, my expertise in computer science, particularly in programming languages and software development, can be an asset to the StarkNet team.

Hello StarkNet enthusiasts!

“With great power comes great responsibility.”

This Peter Parker Principle perfectly describes the essence of governance in crypto. Here are my key points about it and how I will contribute to the StarkNet:

1. Delegating voting power from centralized teams to thousands of users worldwide gives them great power.

In the past, I have been actively participating in the governance of many crypto projects - Optimism, Stargate, Paraswap, Shell Protocol, AAVE, Lido, Goldfinch, 1inch, Gitcoin, CowSwap, and Hashflow. Based on it, I have gained a broad experience in Decentralized Governance.
Key point 1: The protocols with more equally distributed voting power allow truly decentralized governance and are more transparent in the decision-making.
Example: The voting in the Stargate DAO in January over the OTC purchase of $STG tokens let the community decide on the deal, which could be financially lucrative but not necessarily beneficial for the protocol’s development.
My contribution: As StarkNet Delegate, I would study each proposal and vote on it with all my best knowledge.

2. The users must fully realize the great responsibility the protocols give them.

Since being actively involved in the decentralized crypto space since September 2021, I have examined and voted on more than 100+ proposals in the abovementioned protocols.
Key point 2: Delegation of the Voting Power alone will only benefit protocol if Delegates vote regularly and deliberately.
Example: Optimism decentralization mechanism rewarded users who had repeatedly voted on Snapshot and educated many users on its importance.

My vision: As StarkNet Delegate, I would contribute to discussions over the proposals and draw attention to them on Social Media.

Some more information about me:
During my activity in the crypto space, I have involved myself in crypto in different roles: As a node-runner, I have supported more than ten nodes (StarkNet, Aptos, Minima, KYVE, Forta, etc.). Also, I have written smart contracts on some L2s, such as Arbitrum, Optimism, zkSync, and Taiko. Moreover, I have participated in testnets on Rollups or L1 blockchains such as Aptos, Sui, Avalanche, and Kiln Testnet. Finally, I have been an early adopter or tester of many projects on different blockchains.

Conflicts of Interest
I don’t have any Conflicts of Interest but will state if any arise during the duration of the delegation.

Requests for delegates?
Feel free to contact me on Twitter @fju_ry if you have any ideas or questions!

I hope to become a StarkNet Delegator.

Thank you for your time!
