Good afternoon!

I work in the cryptocurrency industry, I test systems, create PR posts and am a bit of a designer. I got into the Starknet ecosystem about six months ago. I was interested in some branches, which attracted quite a lot of publicity. Took part in a couple of testnets from SN. Also I’m very active in Aptos - forum, testnet, any activities, bugs and errors detection in the system.

My Involvement in governance

Over the past year, I have participated in the governance of the Optimism Network as an active voter. This experience gave me a better understanding of the importance of community participation for the development of a healthy and sustainable blockchain ecosystem.

I was inspired by the Optimism community, who worked together to build a reliable and efficient Layer 2 platform for Ethereum. As a voter, I took the time to understand the issues and challenges facing the community, and I was careful to vote for the proposals that seemed to me to be the best for the health and growth of the community. 'ecosystem.

Over time, I wanted to get more involved and am now an active delegate on the Optimism Network, with over $1300 OP in delegation from 53 addresses.

My Commitments to Starknet Governance

As a delegate, I am ready to work closely with other players in the ecosystem to drive the adoption of blockchain technology and contribute to the development of innovative decentralized applications on the Starknet network.

Overview

I’m an individual with a background in LAMP development and an interest in rollups, particularly validity rollups, since 2021. I’ve experimented with learning some Cairo in 2021/2022, before deciding to hold on until the language was a bit more mature (ie around now). I’ve been an active early participant in some of the largest parts of the Starknet ecosystem - particularly Briq, Pxls and more recently Influence. I don’t represent any particular group, interest or project, and I believe this is a positive thing (not trying to push any particular agenda), but I have a more general interest in rollups and account abstraction as a whole, and in helping Starknet on the path to success, as I believe it’s the way forward for Ethereum.

Why me?

I have a dev background so understand fundamentals pretty well, and am now coming back into to the cairo fold. I have good working experience of several eth rollups, which I think it’s really important to learn from (in terms of the economics, community engagement, business partnerships and general publicity). I’ve found the approach Optimism took, in particular, to be an excellent way of stimulating engagement, feeding funds back into the ecosystem and creating a system whereby governance isn’t strictly plutocratic. Above all this is my main vision / hope for crypto - trying to avoid the antidemocratic centralization of wealth and power that already exists in the real world. For this you need a plurality of voices and opinions, and commitment to further the project. I’m passionate about both of these things.

As a crypto enthusiast and developer, I discovered the world of cryptocurrency around 2017 and developed a game called Cryptodungeons, a fully on-chain game on Ethereum featuring quests, heroes, items, and crafting.

Hey everybody, I’m Ady and I’m a blockchain tester in various Ecosystems
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:

  1. StarkNet is the most promising effort to make Ethereum secure, scalable and a viable computing platform.
    2.I have considerable experience on DAO governance, being an active delegate in 2 of the biggest ecosystems and . Not everyone needs to work on a VC-funded for-profit soul-crashing startup that gives nothing back to the world.

My view: The main thing that pushed me to get actively involved in Gitcoin DAO was the goal of funding public goods. Only for my specific case public goods is the much more specific and hard case of opensource software. The idea of finding ways to make opensource software sustainable by providing incentives to those who build them is something that excites me and fills me with purpose.
