About me
Hello Caironauts,

I am tekkac, I have been toying with cairo-lang since 2021 and loving it ever since. I have a background in theoretical computer science and cryptography and I have been deeply interested in the applied zkspace since 2018. I participate actively in the open source community and attend Starknet events, I was a speaker and panelist at the first StarknetCC.

Past experience
Notable past Cairo projects of mine include kickstarting a pairing primitive for the alt_bn128 elliptic curve, implementing EIP-3525 for Starknet and pioneering a bitcoin stateless client as a hackathon project.

Previously, my investment in governance was restricted to delegating, voting and discussing proposals. As a Starknet delegate, I will promote core values to the best of my ability and would like to have a say in the governance good practices standardization.

Core values
I am chain-agnostic and tech-maximalist. Here are some values I like:

  • Let’s decentralize it (where it makes sense)
  • Don’t trust, verify (and double check the math just to be sure)

By delegating your voting power to me, you have a voice on technology and ecosystem exploration.

Conflict of interest
I work at Carbonable, our team is committed to contribute to public good infrastructure.
As a delegate, the views I express are mine only and not affiliated to a company.
In the case of an economic conflict of interest I will abstain from voting for fairness.

I am ready to participate in our community effort for a better and stranger Starknet.

Thank you for your time.

Hello everyone, I’m Sam and I’m a content creator for the StarkNet ecosystem. My work includes curating daily visual news about StarkNet and StarkEx, as well as creating educational materials for YouTube and Twitter Spaces to spread the word and engage people in the development of the ecosystem. I would like to become a delegate because it would be a learning experience for me and I could better inform the community about global governance proposals and developments. If I am given the opportunity to become a delegate, I will be able to involve my community in the decision making process to make StarkNet a more trusted and community oriented network. Although I have no experience in managing a DAO, I am familiar with its concept and understand the responsibilities and obligations that come with such a role. My skills and areas of expertise are related to the creation and distribution of educational and promotional content to the global community. Although I’m not a technical expert, I took a course to become a Solidity developer and I’m actively learning the technical aspects. I am willing to take an active role in the governance of StarkNet and do my best to keep the ecosystem sustainable. I am open to communication with the Foundation and the council, as well as to communicate with the community through AMA Spaces and respond to requests.
Thanks everyone and good luck!

I have been involved with the Starknet community since its early stages and have tested various projects built on the network. I am interested in contributing to the decentralization of Starknet by becoming a validator, given my relevant skills and experience.

Furthermore, I believe it would be advantageous to introduce a tiered membership system that provides different levels of voting power. This approach would be particularly useful when voting on proposals that require technical expertise beyond the knowledge of the majority of members. In such cases, members with technical backgrounds should have more influence in the voting process.

Greetings everyone,

I am an active participant in the StarkNet ecosystem, serving as a node runner and user for almost a year now, since its early stages in the testnet. It brings me great pleasure to have the opportunity to contribute to this project through governance and play a role in its development.
My hope for the future of “web3” is that it will continue to be a transformative force, rather than fall into legacy traps due to greed and centralization. I greatly appreciate how StarkNet is leveraging technology for positive social impact and prioritizing purpose over profit, as well as promoting the development of public goods for the long-term benefit of all. This is a refreshing and reassuring approach, particularly at this stage in the crypto adoption cycle.
My core values are centered around consistency, sustainability, and a long-term orientation, as I view StarkNet as a significant part of the Ethereum and broader crypto space ecosystem.
I have experience participating in governance proposals on Snapshot for various Ethereum and Layer 2 blockchain projects, and have even created and executed some proposals myself.
My skillset primarily revolves around DevOps for various web3 and blockchain projects, as well as familiarity with data and blockchain analytics. As a daily user of StarkNet, I aspire to represent the interests of fellow users like myself by participating in governance.

Hi! Introduce I am student from China, I am a tester on different blockchains and different projects.
I like to explore various blockchains and study them and compare them with other blockchains for the differences and similarities. I believe StarkNet is the most promising attempt to make Ethereum a secure and scalable computing platform.
StarkNet is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that is designed to help solve some of the scalability issues associated with the Ethereum network. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of StarkNet:

Advantages:

  1. Scalability: StarkNet can process up to 9,000 transactions per second, which is significantly higher than the current capacity of the Ethereum network. This makes it more efficient and faster to execute transactions.
  2. Cost-Effective: StarkNet is designed to be cost-effective, making it an attractive solution for developers who are looking for a more affordable option for their projects.
  3. Security: StarkNet is built on top of the Ethereum network, which is known for its high level of security. This makes it a reliable solution for developers who are concerned about the security of their applications.
  4. Compatibility: StarkNet is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which means that developers can use existing tools and languages to create and deploy their applications.

Disadvantages:

  1. Centralization: Some critics argue that StarkNet is too centralized, as it requires a trusted setup process that relies on a small group of people to generate the initial parameters.
  2. Limited Smart Contract Support: While StarkNet is compatible with the EVM, it currently has limited support for complex smart contracts. This may make it less attractive to developers who require more advanced features.
  3. Learning Curve: Developers who are new to StarkNet may find that there is a steep learning curve associated with the platform, as it requires a deep understanding of zero-knowledge proofs and other advanced technologies.

Overall, StarkNet has the potential to be a powerful solution for Ethereum scalability, but it is important to carefully evaluate its advantages and disadvantages before using it for your project.

Hello everyone!
I’m an active user of the StarkNet ecosystem and manage nodes. I’ve been using the StarkNet network in the early stages of the testnet for almost a year now. It’s really nice to have the opportunity to participate in the project through management and make an even greater contribution.
I want “web3” to continue to be something truly transformative, rather than just disappearing into outdated traps due to greed and a simple mode of centralization. I really appreciate how StarkNet uses technology for positive social impact, prioritizing the goal over profit, and contributing to the development of public goods for long-term benefits for everyone. This is refreshing and equally encouraging at this stage of cryptocurrency adoption.
My core values are consistency, sustainability, and long-term orientation, as I see StarkNet as a big part of Ethereum and the entire crypto ecosystem.
As a DAO leader, I have participated in proposals for managing Snapshot for various projects on Ethereum and L2 blockchains. I also have some experience creating and executing proposals in Snapshot.
As for my skill set, I specialize in DevOps for various web3/blockchain projects, and I’m also familiar with data analytics and blockchain.
I consider myself as part of the daily users of StarkNet and want to represent users like me in governance.
Thanks a lot for reading this.

Hi everyone, my name is Andrey, and I am not a content creator in the StarkNet ecosystem. I comment positively on StarkNet news almost daily to help spread awareness and organic interest in the development of this scalable solution.

I would like to become a delegate because it will also be a learning experience for me, as well as give me the opportunity to better share management proposals and developments in my posts with the StarkNet community, and make people feel like participants in the management process, even if they are not directly involved in it. If this is considered the right foundation and advice, I will be able to find ways to involve the community in actively participating in my votes, which will always be aimed at making StarkNet a strong and community-centered network.

I have direct experience of managing the DAO (snapshot, optimizm), I am familiar with the concept and role due to the intense experience of the period when this concept was laid down, and the principles of the DAO began to be more and more accepted. I understand the responsibilities and responsibilities that such a role implies.

My skills and areas of expertise are those that characterize content creation and educational/based on the principles of content promotion in order to translate complex concepts into understandable words.

I should be chosen as a delegate because they will get a very active member of the community who will try to make them an active part of the management process in StarkNet.

Thanks a lot for your attention

I’m fancyFan(discord id: fancyFan#0326), I’m a loyal member of starknet discord and I’m writing to you to apply for Delegators role at staknet.

I have helped new people and other members of the community for a long time, although I am, and please spare a few minutes to read this private letter I wrote, because this is not a fraud, or a junk private letter to introduce the project or anything, this is a sincere self-recommendation letter I have considered for a long time before deciding to write to you.

First of all, I am a web3 enthusiast, keen to experience new projects in the web3 world (different chains, traditional protocol, and nfts). starknet is a chain with the most potential and the most obvious features of innovative technology, which is why I heard about starknet project from my friends when I entered web3 at the beginning. I joined starknet’s discord community on April 28, 2022. Since I was new to the cryptocurrency world at that time, I often asked questions in the discord community (e.g., how much deposit limit was left in starknet’s mainnet and how often to reset deposit limit ). As I’ve been using starknet ecosystem projects (such as the official bridge starkgate, as well as many 3rd dapps like myswap and 10kswap) more often, I’ve seen some differences between starknet’s technology and the traditional ethereum technology, for example

1、account abstraction :because starknet supports account abstraction, the account addresses on it are external account address, while generally speaking mm wallet addresses are EOA addresses, which is different.

2、zk-STARK, StarkWare is a pioneer in zk-STARK, developing two core products: StarkNet, a permissionless decentralized zk rollup, and StarkEx, a standalone zk rollup SaaS. Additionally, StarkWare was the first producer of a production-grade zk virtual machine (zkVM) called Cairo. Cairo claims to have done this through implementation of a Turing complete Von Neumann architecture. Each program resides in the VM’s memory, alongside the data processed by it. Cairo can be accessed by anyone today, and is currently being used by prominent StarkEx clients like dydx, Immutable, and DeversiFi. Other novel applications using their own version of zkVM include Polygon Miden and RiscZero, the latter of which is attempting to build a general purpose zkVM

3、cario:Cairo is a programming language for writing provable programs, where one party can prove to another that a certain computation was executed correctly. Cairo and similar proof systems can be used to provide scalability to blockchains.
StarkNet uses the Cairo programming language both for its infrastructure and for writing StarkNet contracts.

(Since my major in college was not programming or computer language related, it was still a little difficult for me to understand)
This is what I learned about starknet in almost 8 months in the starknet community, but I know it’s just scratching the surface because starknet’s technology is really cutting edge, but I think this knowledge is very useful for me to help the community members! Dear odin, you may think that what I say is bullshit. I hope you can read the next paragraph patiently. The following is the proof of my contribution to the community.
